By the way, I checked Queiroz's record with Columbia. It's 9/5/4 which is great. They still play their defense based on the foundation he built. It was James and a couple of other senior players that campaigned for his sack. The reason is his training methods was too hard for them.

The time Coach Carlos was appointed, he's too little time to prepare Black Stars team and what he could do to help at the urgent moment was what he did by playing defensive game.

good news Carlos is staying but until we know what happened with the selection for our last 2 wc games, im not super hopeful; if gfa is still in charge, prepare for another potential heartbreak at afcon no matter who the coach is; having said that i prefer Carlos over Herve by a mile

My brother don't hold your breath ohhhhh. My only question is who's your technical director at the GFA? That's who decides if all national teams play in the same style or identity. I can give you examples. If it's just based on vibes that GFA is going with Queroz then oh well. I've heard his assistant talking about local players, so there's a potential for things to happen. But if it's only about winning AFCON next year then it doesn't matter who you hire as the coach. Still going after short term goals = high probability of not being at the WC in 2030!
