It's sad. Sure, the team got a 0-0 draw vs England and looked good. But when it comes down to it, no goals were scored. You can't beat the best scoring 1 goal in 135 straight minutes. Nobody comes close to Gio when it comes to providing "on the ball" creativity and quality set piece delivery. You would think people are calling for Gio to replace Mbappe, Messi, or DeBruyne by the way people talk about the U.S. midfield and attack.
