Any signing is a risk. we could have signed a right back for 3 million and gets injured and out for season after one game. We are due a signing to go our way so hopefully he shows Brighton form for us

It was an ACL that ruined Ale Faurlin's career but surgical techniques have come a long way since then. Tariq will have to be carefully managed this season so that the grind of the Championship doesn't get the better of him but I'm cautiously very optimistic about this signing. If it works out, along with Kemper, we could find ourselves blessed with the kind of swashbuckling FB's that we haven't really had since the days of Willo, Rufless and The Bard – in which case we'll surprise more than a few pundits but, right now and call me deranged if you like, I don't see a top 8 finish as being out of the question.
I think if we can get this kid fit then he's potentially a Paul Parker MK2. It is a big IF but let's say he can get fit and he has retained 90% of his blistering pace then this could be a masterstroke signing. Let's also hope that we can finally get a season out of Poku, Dembele and even Chair then we could be in decent shape.
