Been a city fan for 33 years and honestly last season was the most fun I've had as a supporter. I know it was league 1 but there's something about building a solid base with our youngsters and changing the way we play that makes me think that if we make it back to the Prem in the next few years we are in a much better position in terms of actually surviving and one day thriving if we can add to the talent we already have.
Clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth have proved what can be achieved if you have a good scouting system that can identify undervalued players in foreign and domestic leagues so I'm hoping the club take a similar approach as in previous years the amount of money spent on older players with next to no sell on value or any passion for actually playing for the club was frustrating.
I'm not expecting miracles for the coming season as the step up to the championship is tough but you never know
