I was hoping for Spain's Jon Martin. But seeing this guy has changed my mind ❤❤ I will be happy with him as he and Mosquera can grow while Saliba is resting.
I like it because he can easily play DM as well. I think ultimately that’s where he will end up for Arsenal when Saliba returns. Mosquera, Timber and Saliba are much better on ball defenders but Debast is clearly a better passer who can read the game excellently, break up opposition attack from DM, and pick out a quick killer transition pass to the likes of Saka, Gyokeres and Martinelli or Vini Jr 🤞🏾
Arsenal are very good at reprofiling players (Ben White, Calafiori, Kiwior, Saka). I see the same vision for Debast in the long run
