Be side Anthony Gordan the whole lot of this midfield is not good enough and if we are using these game as pre season and the rest of the teams are we are in real trouble next season as it stands the teams that will stay up have better midfield than we have we need a whole new midfield that cost millions which we cant spend I'm very worried by this mess and for me brands has to go
He can’t ask the two midfielders to just sit and protect though baz because they’re so slow and literally can’t tackle and that’s not even an exaggeration not a single one of them are capable of making a tackle, one of the most basic things of being a footballer

Is this the worst midfield you’ve seen? In my mind Klaus Thomson & Danny Williamson will always be the benchmark (or skid mark) but honestly I’ve wiped their performances out of my brain by now. This lot have got to be as bad, no matter who plays, they’re just ghosts in the middle of the park. Can’t believe the money we’ve spent. 🤯

I said it when he left. Gana will be an absolutely HUGE loss. He gave us that energy in the middle of the pitch. Remember when Schneiderlin first joined and partnered Gana from January to the end of the season? He was brilliant so good in fact he was in with a shout of Player of the Season. That's how good Gana was and still is in my opinion. …He lets other players get on with their job. I would move heaven and earth to bring him back from PSG. Heard they may be moving him out. Get 3 good seasons out of him. Do it Everton.

I have to say, the only time I have been confident that we will get a result and be proud to be a fan since Martinez first season is when Big Dunc took over. The players played like Iron Men and it really gave me goosebumps watching Dunc at pitch side which made Everton feel like Everton again. I really hope I'm wrong but I just can't see this getting much better with this combination of manager players (obviously) and club energy, which strangely always seems to fail with the new football ethos and thrive under the old skool resonance of Moyes and Dunc. Football is truly odd sometimes
This is our worst first 11 for 20 years, or before we got moyes. I know we have a couple of great individuals but as an 11 we are crap. Nobody can make a tackle!!!! At least moyes teams had tacklers and had a go
If the refs are on 140k a year, they should have to do an interview afterwards, even if it’s at the press conference.

What really gets me is the appearance that some players are not trying. If you can’t motivate yourself to try and put yourself in the mind of a manager that has managed some of the best players ever then I don’t know. Or if you can’t take the opportunity to learn for the best then again I don’t know….well I do they just arnt good enough particularly mentally.

To true about the midfielders but another big problem is that we've never replaced Lukaku, it comes to something when we have to play Lewin every week. 😢 Just as well Richarlison's there.
352 could be something for the future if 442 doesn’t work in some games, Gordon or Iwobi can play as a 10 behind the front two, get some decent midfielders in and the back three ped suggested would be a good spine to build on
