You mentioned barrel chipping. It's legal to use chipped bats in USSSA right? Just asking because I have a bat with a chip in it, but it's not cracked or anything.
Decided to switch to Louisville this year.. bought a Williams and hot damn I'm hitting nukes. Used a 2019 Krecher (220) for 2 years and I feel like my genesis is hotter even if it's a 240. Crazy.
any advice on 2022 LOUISVILLE GENESIS WILLIAMS USSSA 2PC or 2022 LOUISVILLE GENESIS 2PC Tyler marshburn. I cant figure out what one i want. im 5 foot 9. 185 lbs. hit 1 homerun about every 4 to 5 at bats. play in a unlimited asa league that is super chill . dose not check bats or anything. no home run fence, unlimited home runs ect ect
I have the whole set of the 1pc Gens. Prefer them over the 2pc but I do agree the 2pc is a little more forgiving. My white gold with .5 oz endload is totally fire and gives a little more control for placement
I just got an Everett Williams bat and have put about 150 swings on it with Classic Plus and Classic M's mainly off the tee, in 60+ degree weather. No seams, chips or cracks yet. I can see why they sometimes do chip though as the letters and graphics are raised and you can kind of feel the edge of the graphics with your finger. The bat feels light as a feather and is really nice to swing though. It does still have a pinging sound instead of that nice crack and doesn't feel especially hot. Sounds very much like a DeMarini Nautalai. Hopefully, it just needs to be broken in a little more.
What bat compression tool are you using? How much? Is there a BATBROS discount? Just bought 2 Slugger Genesis 27.5 bats with your code, one with 0.5 oz endload, other with 1.0 oz… saved $132 total ($60/bat, $6/bat s&h) tyvm!!! It really looks like you're in West Linn Oregon I went there for hs most of sophomore and part of junior year, lived off White Cloud Circle, worked at Tualitin BK, one of my favorite places as a child. Still fly up to roadrace motorcycles at PIR 4 times a year with OMRRA, I'm #22, come say hi if you can?!
