Sack Zak brown and bring back Ron Dennis, it's the only way
It is undeniably confirmed McLaren IS the problem, be it chassis or management. They need and should apologise to HONDA.
Alonso podium finish inshallah
bring ron back.
You're giving such a shitty car to Vandoorne, and expect him to perform at level of Mercs and Ferraris.
Time to stop making excuses and start delivering!
We are fed up of seeking our favourite team at the bottom!
Mclaren will need to be careful if they don't want to suffer the same decline as Williams. It's hard to see how they will dig themselves out with no works engine deal, lack of sponsorship and a general lack of direction. Dropping Honda was a mistake, why go through the pain of developing the engine for 3yrs and then drop Honda when they begin to show some progress. It was all too easy to blame Honda for all their problems when clearly the car wasn't up to scratch.
Finally Alonso is going to retire
Useless high paid driver
Honda was not the real issue all these years. All this shit they threw at them was just
to take the spotlight away from their inability to build a proper car. Look at Torro Rosso.
Minimal issues with the engine this year. And Gasly performs greatly.
I know lots of people are mentioning Honda here, It was risk that didn't pay off and in hindsight it was a mistake, But,, McLaren have not built a race winning car since 2012. 2 of those years where with Mercedes power " there's something rotten in the state of Woking ".
Please step down Zac Brown.
this hurts so much
I think they made a big mistake by switching to renault. Now their chassis is total crap and we can see that the Honda engine isn‘t really dragging torro rosso down that massively
Why pick Sainz over Stoffel. It’s not that he can turn your shitty car around.
Brown is a wrong guy on a job. Denis is MCLAREN. It’s like Apple without Steve Jobs. What I don’t get it, why well run companies decide we can make it “better”. They get rid of all the people that made them successful. Hire, not a freakin clue management like Brown…and here we are. Decline of the great brand started. Was just a meter of time. BTW. Sainz is not a very good driver, Incase u didn’t know that Zak.
I certainly don’t think they will be better with the new driver lineup.
Time for Zak Brown to go, he has no clue what the f he's doing, get's chauffered to work everyday. As long as McLaren is willing to support his lifestyle, he's more than happy to stay. Mansour ojjeh, it's time you right this ship and clean house.
20 world championships don't matter now. Stop looking in the past and look forward.
They all say that Mclaren would be up front if Dennis was still team principal. And to that i reply ¿ Did it make a difference when he builded the MP4 – 28 from scratch and the team went from the front to the midfield? ¿ They really had to drop Pérez after that season? Ron was ambicious ,that's what costed him both titles in '07 because he choose Hamilton over the team, that's what made Mclaren a backmarker after he signed Honda while telling them how to build THEIR OWN engine. Ron had it coming sooner or later and it's his fault that the team has 6 years without winning and 5 without a podium.
1:30 The problem they cannot detect in the wind tunnel is called management problem which does not show in wind tunnels… well they actually do show up in wind tunnels, they even walk there by themselves it's just that wind tunnels are not made to detect those kinds of problems.
Management blamed Honda to keep themselves in the Job, plain and simple. Now it is full blown evident that was the case, hence the story of a problem that cannot be identified in the wind tunnel, as well as staff unrest and freddo scandal.
Mclaren saying it is an issue that cannot be identified in the wind tunnel is either due to:
1) lower skilled engineers unable to identify them (probably due to previous cost cutting in engineering to prop up the bottom line) or
2) It is not an engineering problem but a management problem.
I think it is the latter, but they are deflecting the issue to a made up unknown problem. Mclaren management is really slippery.
