The only team in nfl history to win the Super Bowl with a quarterback with more than or equal to 17% of the salary cap ever and that was the chiefs of this most recent year. Patrick Mahomes is the exception not the norm.
Just one other thing about CJ, in all the years I have been aware of – college through professional career, he has always presented himself with the highest of character. Like Barry, he was never provided the platform to achieve to his maximum… he gave more than just his time!
With Calvin Johnson, it was about the injuries, he could hardly even walk. He is still youngenough to come back as an impact player or assistant coach.

Believe we will go after a LB in free agency. We truly need a Levy type of player in the middle again. Far as the QB conversation goes, I believe everyone said the rams got rid of an albatross contract that Goff had them under. As time passes, a huge contract becomes the median after a couple of years. The cap goes up, and contracts go up. You all believe Goff is on a friendly deal now. That was not the word less than 3 years ago.
I’d try and extend JG for around 35 million a year it’s a decent amount and 10 to 15 less then the top QB salarys
