The refereeing was absolutely terrible. They looked confused and hesitant and just refused to control the game. Inexcusably horrible officiating lol
I know his job is to stay positive and put on a good spin but we have a LONG way to go before we can even hope to get out of pool play in the WC. Pulisic can’t finish a happy meal and we have no real dangerous, goal scorer for when we’re not playing Morocco, Panama or Grenada.

When I saw the conditions, I just cursed – this could not be a good football game. The conditions take away the “beautiful game.” I also know that this the rainy season in Central America and the Salvadorian players know how to play in that crap! Glad that we managed a tie. I thought Reggie Cannon struggled. Feel pretty good about most of the players. Watching Haji, … I felt he looked like Lukaku struggling at Chelsea- big man who just wasn’t getting it done. Could be the conditions. I was glad that we got our quicker players in and a battler like Morris ended up making the difference up top. The Salvador players were a battling, fussy group, … constantly talking to the ref – extremely annoying. Just glad to put this one behind us!

That was a good scrap. That grit will help at the WC. On the one hand I do not like the fact that we don't have a consistently scoring front line. But I do like that different people at all positions have scored.
