Here we are after the first big rush of free agency – how do you think the Detroit Lions set themselves up for the draft? What's their move(s) in the first round?
Im hoping jalen carter falls. Then a db at 18 , deonte banks. Or bijan at 18 would be awesome… hendon hooker and either jack cambell or deiyan henley in the 2nd rd. Love the show. Keep the content coming!
How about Brad Holmes talking to the Texans to see the asking price for Davis Mills? I think he can be serviceable, as a backup with starter experience. I feel he could get a win or two, with our talented roster, if Goff would happen to go down. What are your thoughts?
PS – I love your content and keep up the great work. 👍
We've had a great FA, if we have a strong draft like we should, nearly as good as last year, I think we are legitimate contenders in the NFC. I know CS was a great player, I was a big fan and I know he had a big part of bringing Brad Holmes in from what I understand. I've been thinking same thing, we are going to draft a QB pretty high or they would have picked up a backup already. I think they are looking at bringing in a guy to back up Goff and possibly even take over eventually and not resigning Goff if we don't have to
When it's all said and done, I like to describe the Jamaal Williams situation like this. The lions culture is now at the point where they don't need a "spokesperson" from the players. The culture IS the players and the coaches. There is no longer a premium on "character" when thinking about resigning someone. If that makes sense.
Miss Tom Kowolski, our daughters went to the same school and played powderpuff football together and I always enjoyed our Lions conversations with him especially right before training camp. 👍🏻
Okay why does riz keep comparing Jamal agents and cjgj agents. One cost is player. The other got him double what he was offered bye his original team?????

I physically get excited and can't contain it when y'all post a video during this FA. I can't get enough lions 2023 FA talk, especially with you guys.
Great show again, guys. Thanks for the great content.

drafting a QB high is a waste of a pick. Why? very slim chance of being better than Goff

Great shoutout to Kowolski, a true Lions beat writing legend.
