Cap is over 12.5M now, they have $$$ to work with now. I really hate to see great players let go as the age but it's the biz. You have to keep new blood coming in to the system all the time and have the right vets to teach them how to be great.
Wright was an extreme liability in coverage and as much as Ken likes to have 3 backers on the field at all times I would say we are better off without him. He is a good dude I wish him well
They may not keep 3 QBs but I don’t see keeping them as hurtful as some do.As you pointed out,players can move up from the PS.Luton is a developmental guy who could prove to have future value,so they most likely want to keep him rostered.I only recently felt like they should try and bring KJ back but understand their thinking.They did workout other LBs and I can’t help but think they try to add one more SAM backer.I’m not sure if it’s possible but Adams moving down and putting Blair at SS would be tempting.Go Hawks!!
