Can you describe the weight transition from front leg to back leg during the turn. Also do you push knees or butt somewhere ? … without this info , it’s not much informative…
What kind of board is that? I'd love to see what all gear you're rocking in the description. Thanks man!
What edge angle do you use?
Hi Ryan, which board and size you ride?
What do you think about Flow Bindings with that high Heelcup?
I’m confused. If I’m side slippin, havin a good old time, why would I want to engage my toe edge??? Pffft.
A nice video again ! i wonder, for the many videos ive now seen .. on average, what degree angle are these slopes you teach us on ? You know it is difficult to evaluate that on cam 🙂 Thank you a lot again for the great tips, demos & advices!
One of your best yet Ryan.
I just came across your channel by chance . I have had a 5 year break from boarding due to injury and general life bullcrap and have just come back. your tutorials are helming me to remember the techniques I used to instruct and have made me think about how to adapt and overcome some flexibility issues to try and get back to how i used to ride, Thanks dude
Funner it does become
This is one of my favorite videos you have made. I've been practicing doing those basic carves and it has made me a much better rider and I'm having more fun all over the mountain now.
Carving leads to better edge control.
Better edge control leads to more confidence.
More confidence leads to more fun on the black runs, tree runs and half pipes
Thanks so much for all your videos
Problem I had when trying to bump my carves up to a bit higher speeds was sometimes I'd lose my edge and the board would start to chatter. Does that seem more like losing my form in the turn or trying to force the turn too much?
I love how fluid you make carving look (like it should be) stoked to see you at nationals🤙
Great video Ryan, thanks for sharing, always a pleasure to watch
Great video 🙂
I wish Big White Canada had wide runs like this. Awesome tip. Thank you.
Is this something I should try as a beginner? I can make linked turns but not fast yet
Трасса супер !!!
You should do an episode about carving in powder. Cos powder.
Awsome tutorial again! Cheers
3:17 That dude looks like Ryan Knapton's Antimatter. He is geared up exactly like Ryan except for the googles. Ryan has a jacket just like that.
I think my main problem is that I am not dropping my knee low enough to make the care, and I end up scraping. Any tips?
Please answer how do back turn Hard whid out the board hack?
F'n Jerry drinkin since 9am wantin ta go fast only wearing a sock on his head and a pair of shades. Can't even hold an edge, that guy. Or strap-in usually. Ill hear him boast and say "oh…hold the lift Ive never done this before…ahahahahaha…" thats hilarious; thanks for letting me know you suck and ill stay the hell away.
