He always delivers when the stakes are highest and he has been underestimated severely because his pride and ego gets hurt which pushes him to create chances and score goals with a vengeance, he came off the bench and created this, and still had a shot that could have gone in. The agenda against him ruined Portugal's chances, and the media started it early knowing it would culminate with him getting benched and ruining his chances at winning a World Cup – the perfect humbling to them, while everyone was silent on Messi, not putting pressure on him. Its such a huge shame the Portuguese coach and players fell for this scheme. Shameful to do that to a player that put their country on the map as true contenders in football for the past 20 years. A huge shame indeed.
